A little about the Designer Herself
Trina Weems is a fashion designer born and raised in Los Angeles county, originally from Pasadena. She attended The Art Institute of Hollywood, and graduated in 2016 with an AS in Fashion Design.
"I really enjoyed dressing up, and putting together ensembles" I would choose to wear long beads doubled up on my neck, and often received compliments on how I dresses even in high school. Trina was always fascinated with clothing, and the quality of it's construction, and stitching. "I always had an appreciation for fine clothing"
My creativity protege emerged in my 30's (thirties) due to an illness, quite profoundly and suddenly. I would start to doodle endlessly once even while working a temporary job answering the phone as a receptionist. I couldn't understand what was happening to me. Clearly, repressed in expressing her creative talents Trina would take a fashion design class in 2003. I was honestly just curious to know if I could draw, and would be good at it, to my surprised I was.
However, from childhood, there was a very organic connection. I was always inclined to spend more time with animals and nature. Flowers have always intrigued me, you'll see me use a lot of nature in my designs (3-D flowers).
"I had really bad allergies as a child mostly to food, and I think this made me more sensitive toward people, and elements connected to nature. I was also became very concerned with how clothing was dyed while working retail, and noticing the potent smells come from the racks of clothes.
Trina Weems has been asked to be photographed by Mike Kortoci (photographer) and honored by invites to Couture Fashion Week Including recent invites in 2020 to Flying Solo, and Paris Fashion Week. She states "I was surprised to get the invite" my intern submitted me without my knowledge firstly in 2010.
The objective goal of p.g.t.b. by trina weems is to truly reach out to humanity and help make a difference in sustainable production of clothing, and offer truly organic clothing for future, and current generations. In an effort to do so our company has struggled. However, there is always a struggle before greatness and we intend to truly make an impact with the p.g.t.b. brand of clothing in 2020/2021, this is our mission...

Goals of Eco Design
Eco Design truly strives to work in a way that is conservative and Eco-friendly. Always making sure there is not to much use of product or using and disposing of product in the proper way, in order to lessen the negative impact on our environment.
Eco Factors
There are so many factors that affects our environment we are truly not aware of. For example; Bamboo is used as an Eco-friendly fabric because of the fact that "It does not require pesticides and herbicides." Also, "The silver ions can damage the genetic material, reproduction and embryo development." These few facts are just a "peek into the window" as to why Eco Design is truly on a rampage to grow in a positive direction by offering it's Eco-friendly line of clothing. There are several Eco-friendly companies growing. However, there is so much more room for this family of Eco-friendly business owners and co-owners. We are so few this Eco-friendly society yet growing. Eco-Design would like to continue and strengthen it's efforts in the coming years. There is so much damage to counter act. Do we have a fighting chance? Eco Design thinks so, this clothing line will be the voice of hope for the next generation to keep going in their preservation of the earth.
